Weigh batcher with belt feeder VLD-1

Weighing platform batcher with belt feeder is designed for packing, by weighing batching, bulk products from 2 to 30 kg in ready containers or packages (packages, bags, boxes). It operates in semi-automatic mode and requires the operator to install containers, give a command to start batching, and collect filled containers. The equipment is used for packing and packaging pellets, soil, pasta, sunflower seeds, crushed stone, sand, animal feed, etc., with a capacity of up to 400 packages per hour.

Job Description

To start dosing, the operator must place an empty package (container, bag) on the weighing table and calibrate the scale zero, i.e. zero the weight indicators (this procedure is performed only once for packages of the same weight). The package must be placed on the weighing table in such a way that the product poured out of the funnel falls directly into the package (container, bag).

Then the operator gives a signal to start dosing by pressing a button or pedal. Upon receiving a signal to start work, the Libra controller, located in the control unit, supplies power to the electric drive, which begins to rotate the conveyor belt.

The belt, having a high adhesion to the product being dosed, rotates, pulls it out of the hopper neck and moves it to the funnel, through which the product is poured into the package (container) installed on the weighing table. The packaging filled with the product creates pressure on the weighing table, which is attached to the frame of the equipment using strain gauges (strain gauges).

The Libra controller monitors the achievement of the set weight indicators (dose size) by the package using the signal from the strain gauges, changing the operating modes of the conveyor belt electric drive: from the moment the dose is dispensed until the set threshold value, the belt moves quickly (coarse dosing mode), and after reaching the threshold value, the belt speed decreases and the product is added (fine dosing mode).

The use of these two modes is necessary to ensure sufficiently high productivity while eliminating excess dose: the coarse dosing mode ensures fast filling of the package, and the fine dosing mode eliminates accidental excess dose. The speed of the conveyor belt in these modes is determined by the values set on the frequency converter.

When the set weight parameters (dose size) are reached, the controller stops the conveyor belt electric drive and stops dispensing the product into the package. The operator must replace the filled package (container, bag) with an empty one, after which he can again give a signal to start work (by pressing a button or pedal), continuing the dosing process.

Peculiarities

The dispenser is optimal for packing bulk products such as: pellets, soil, pasta, seeds, crushed stone, sand, animal feed. Due to the high adhesion of the polyurethane tape to the product, the feeder of this dispenser allows you to carefully and quickly extract the product from the bin.

This weighing equipment is produced in one model VLD-1, with modifications for the maximum dosage weight and the volume of the storage bin.
